Dr. Thane Barnes was not raised in a Christian family. He never remembered a prayer being prayed or the Bible being mentioned. He came to faith in Christ as a college student when his life fell apart in every way, but God has done a remarkable job of putting a life back together by bringing peace and purpose.

Pastor Thane has been married to Susan for 45 years. They have two married daughters and six fantastic grandkids.

He has pastored in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Maryland and North Carolina. He served as the Executive Director of the Nevada Baptist Convention for eight years.

Pastor Thane retired from full time pastoring and devotes himself to preaching, teaching and consulting both locally and internationally.
