  • ADULT CHOIR

The Adult Choir is a group that comes together for the main purpose of praising God through song. Ages Senior High and above are welcome to join. The choir sings regularly in the Worship Services and for special events throughout the year such as Christmas and Easter Sunday. The Adult Choir meets Sunday evenings at 7pm in the main sanctuary of the church.

  • PRAISE TEAM

Currently singing with the Adult Choir.

  • CHILDREN'S CHOIR

One of the outstanding opportunities for children at EBC is our Children's Choir. The Children's Choir is about much more than singing. It is about music; learning to read it, learning note value, learning rhythms, learning to keep the beat, and much more! All of our learning is presented in creative ways that make learning music fun for all our boys and girls. Most importantly, the children learn biblical truths as they are learning about music. These truths, coupled with music, make for an unforgettable combination! Practices are Sunday nights at 6pm. Lead by Denise Allman.

  • CHILDREN'S HAND BELL CHOIR

Under the leadership of Amy Griffin, our Hand Bell Choir is a great opportunity for our children to give praise to the Lord with instruments. The beautiful sounds of the bells are a unique addition to Christmas, Easter and regular worship services throughout the year.

  • DRAMA MINISTRY

At EBC we feel like Drama is a wonderful way to get people to feel, while identifying with the characters and their situations. Drama is an effective tool to introduce and support the message being presented. As the real challenges of life are revealed, needs are exposed, making the message better received.

Nursery

Our nursery staff is committed to providing quality care for the children in our care. The goal of the Nursery Ministry at Ellisboro Baptist Church is to ensure that every child and parent who comes to the nursery sees and experiences God. We want to make sure your child feels safe, secure and loved.

If you would like to enroll your child in our Nursery program, please take a moment to fill out the Nursery Enrollment Form (click here for the form) and submit it to Denise Allman or email it to EBCnursery@goebcnow.com

Older Youth - The Connection

                                        OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Ellisboro Baptist Church's Youth Ministry seeks to build Christian Commitment in teenagers by providing a friendly and open atmosphere for young people to study scripture, develop Christian friendships, serve others in Christ's name, and apply their faith to their daily lives. THIS IS YOUR INVITATION The Connection of Ellisboro Baptist Church would like to extend to you an invitation to attend our weekly meetings on Sunday evening at 5:30 pm in the church fellowship hall. This is a time for our youth to engage in bible study, videos, and games to help each other grow closer to God. INVOLVEMENT a lot of people say, "Young people are the church of tomorrow." There's some truth to that, but young people are the church of today as well. So instead of waiting for you to grow up, we're called to help you become an active part of the church today! Only then, will you be able to mature into a church leader of tomorrow!

For Older Youth event check out the Upcoming Events.

FOSTERING RELATIONSHIPS AMONG TEENAGERS

group ministries

  • hands of god ministry

The Hands of God Ministry of Ellisboro Baptist Church is a support based program partnered with several area churches. Non-perishable food items are collected and turned over to the joint food bank for distribution to those individuals and families in need of assistance. Our goal is to help those who are struggling and not able to financially obtain the basic necessities of daily living. Whether the reason is from unemployment, sickness, or physical disability, our goal is to extend a helping hand during their time of need.

  • homebound ministry

The Homebound Ministry's objective is to keep in touch with members who are unable to attend services. These folks dearly love the Lord and His church and miss the fellowship. They appreciate being kept up to date through bulletins, newsletters, and church audio recordings that are provided to them. However, it is the monthly visits, phone calls, and cards that mean the most to them.

  • men's group

The EBC's Men's Ministry goal is to provide the opportunity for men in the community to gather together for fellowship and service, and to share and strengthen their lives so they can be better witnesses of God's Word.

This team does small jobs for church members and the community. Michael Knight is the director of this team, and Fred Kiscak is the project director. Please see either one of these gentlemen for more info.

  • MOT"r" team - adults of all ages and families

"MOTR" Team stands for Middle of the Road. It is a group geared towards fun and fellowship between the ages of 18 and Primetimers. Events include dinners, bowling, ballgames, etc. Some events are for the entire family

  • prime timers

The Prime Timer's Ministry's purpose is to encourage those in our fellowship who are 50 and over to participate in activities that foster spiritual growth and health, age-leveled educational pursuits, evangelistic outreach, and wholesome fellowship events. To promote strong focal points of need so that people may be involved in an area that interests them.

  • wMU

WMU offers organizations and approaches, as well as ministries, that enable every member of the church to learn about missions, become involved in missions, and live a mission filled lifestyle. WMU offers many opportunities to fulfill six areas of missions' focus that are at the heart of missions education. Through the organizations and approaches, adults, students, children, and preschoolers learn about the work and needs of missionaries. There are opportunities to participate personally in mission projects as well as develop a missions lifestyle - something for everyone.

EBC currently offers a WOM program that works with the WMU organization. The Women on Mission and Sisters Who Care program is designed for women aged 35 and older. The EBC WMU program is lead by Mrs. Bennie Jo Gentry.
