Interim Pastor Matthew Tilley

Matthew Tilley currently serves as the interim pastor of Ellisboro Baptist Church. He previously pastored the McConnell Road Baptist Church (Greensboro, NC) and Crestview Baptist Church (Winston-Salem, NC). He spent his childhood and teen years in Belgium and Germany where his parents planted Baptist churches with the US military. In 2005, after years in a successful marketing career, he surrendered to God’s call on his life to be a local church pastor. Since then, he has worked to live out this call to disciple and equip the church to exalt Christ, edify each other and evangelize the lost.

Matthew is married to Vanessa Byerly Tilley and they have four children. He graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.A. in Journalism and from Wake Forest University with an M.B.A. He is pursuing an M.Div. with Bob Jones Seminary.
