Kevin Bedard began serving as Pastor of Ellisboro Baptist Church in September 2026.

A Boston native, Kevin came to North Carolina to attend college in 1993. He graduated from Elon University in 1998 and he later received his Masters of Education from UNC Greensboro and worked in the NC public school system for 10 years as a teacher and Behavioral Specialist. He and his family moved to Eden, NC in 2007. Kevin completed a Masters of Arts in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2016. Kevin served at Osborne Baptist Church in Eden from 2010-2026 as Recreation & Family Ministries Director, High School Pastor and as Missions Pastor. 

Kevin is passionate about all things Jesus, teaching Gods word, caring for people, missions/outreach, & loving the least of these. Kevin loves to teach God’s word & his desire is to love people where they are and to help them discover their freedom & purpose in Jesus. He longs for every person to sing that Jesus is Lord, Savior and best friend! Kevin’s life verse is Matthew 5:16 and Ephesians 2:1-10 and the Grace of God changed his life.

Kevin and his wife, Tracie call Stoneville, NC home and they have been married since 2002 and they have two amazing children, Matthew and Mallory. Kevin played college baseball for Elon University and is a huge Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. High fives, hugs, “Hey friend!” and ice cream are his love language. His one desire is to know Jesus and to make him known.
