  • AUGUST 26, 2020 FROM THE PASTOR

We want to thank you for using our website.  I am writing this article to assure everyone that we are doing all possible to make sure the church is clean; this means regular cleaning as well as being sanitized.

In the coming days we hope to open up everything in our church.  Right now, the children are not involved in Sunday School.  We are not having Sunday night services at this time either.  Looking forward to the time when things get back to normal.

If there is any way we can be of service to any of you, please let us know.  During this time of Covid-19 it is a good time to examine our relationship to God.  God loves us and has made a way for us to be saved.  So, let’s get right with him!

  • April 28, 2020 Note from pastor tillman

Dear Lord, after thousands of years of history, our world should be better than it is.  Yet, here we are, facing wars and rumors of war, nation rising against nation and kingdom against kingdom.

Famines, pestilence, earthquakes, persecution, false prophets deceiving many, lawlessness abounds.  Love growing cold – just as Jesus predicted.

In the name of Jesus, we ask:  May Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. May Your Word spread among the nations. May your plan for history move along its course.

And may Your name be exhausted from the rising of the sun to the place it sets.

Give us healing for those diseased and freedom to the oppressed. And hasten the day when the kingdom of this world will become the vineyards of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I know this pandemic has us all tired of all the news (bad news) so let’s not dwell on all the bad, but let’s think on good things.  Bad things will discourage you; good things will encourage you!

Remember God loves you and cares what is happening to you today.

    Hello Dear Folks,

As I write this article, I know that many of you are tired of this pandemic we are living through.  Don’t give up.  Just keep looking up.  God cares about what is happening today in your life.

Use this time to pray and read your Bible.  You will receive a blessing for doing so.

I want to say that our church cares about you also.  If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know.  People have been bringing food for us to donate to those in need.  Call Denise if you need food or know of someone who needs food.

Remember this…. we are praying for each of you and we are here to help you if you need us.

    Looking forward to church again!

    MESSAGE TO OUR CHURCH FAMILY

“The Lord has promised good things”.  Numbers 10:29

Are you troubled today?  The Bible says “For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion”. – Psalm 27:5

Do you feel weak?  The Lord declares “My strength is made perfect in weakness”.    II Cor. 12:9

Are you anxious about how a situation will work out?  Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths”.

There are many Bible verses that can give us strength.  During this time, please read and apply the Bible to your lives.

A final note, if anyone has a need that we can provide, please let us know.  Our church address is 1604 Ellisboro Rd, Madison, NC  27025.

May God bless you during this time.    This too will come to pass.

    With love and prayers,

    Rev. Michael Tillman, Pastor

    From the Pastor,

    Dear Folks,

I just wanted to touch base with you because I know that we are living in a time like no other.  I want you to know that God loves you and that He will see us through this.  “This too shall pass”.

Let’s use this time we have to pray!  Pray for our missionaries, school children, and those who do not have the necessities of life.  Read Psalm 23.  It will bless you.  Pray as never before.  Live by the Golden Rule!  Treat others the way you would like to be treated.

    God bless you,

    Rev. Tillman
